skin Dry skin


Use a rich cream cleanser instead of soap and water. Avoid astringents, as they will further dry your skin. Instead, use a mild skin toner after cleansing your skin. Apply a good moisturizing lotion in the day, before sleeping, before applying make-up and after removing make-up.


Once a week, wash your face with the juice of a melon. You can give yourself a weekly facial by mixing a yolk of an egg with two tablespoons of milk and half a tablespoon of honey. Apply this on your face and leave it on for about fifteen minutes. Then wash with lukewarm water. If you?re out in the sun a lot, milk mixed with melted butter helps soften the dry skin.


Lanolin, apple juice, peach juice, sour cream and crushed almonds are also helpful for dry skin.





Oily skin


You may not believe it, but oily skin actually has some advantages. As a result of excess lubrication, wrinkles do not form prematurely and skin is not much affected by wind and sunlight. However, oily skin is a magnet for dirt and grime and thus a good and regular cleansing regime is a must. If oily skin is not cleaned thoroughly and regularly, the dirt will clog the pores in the skin and blackheads will appear.


People with oily skin should wash their faces with medicated soap and water. The use of astringents is advised as they have a tightening and drying effect on the skin. Buttermilk or beaten egg whites also have a drying and tightening effect. Parsley juice mixed with honey and a few drops of lemon or ginger is good for an oily skin. This mixture controls the secretion of oil.


Fuller?s earth (Multani mitti), oatmeal, almond paste, or lime juice or vinegar mixed with water are excellent cleansers. Steaming opens up the clogged pores and you can push out blackheads and whiteheads and prevent pimples.


Avoid rich fried foods and load up on green vegetables instead. Take two tablespoons of lecithin granules (a by-product of soyabeans) daily.


After washing your face, soak a towel in hot water and press it to your face. Repeat this process two or three times. Next wet the towel in ice-cold water and repeat the process two or three times to close enlarged pores.


Cucumber, parsley, cabbage, tomato, yoghurt and lemon are natural aids for an oily skin.

You should atleast wash your face after each 2-3 hours and every time use washed towel.
I use Arbonne's nutrimin c re9 anti aging entire body system.


It self adjusts to your own skin type. (so you can ne normal, dry or oily)





I use the face wash, toner, and the eye cream, serum, lift, and day cream in the AM and at night repeat that leave out the lift and day cream and add the night cream. I have had tremendous results.





I also use the body wash and cream and my normally very dry skin is hydrated.





It's not cheap, but worth every dime. A little goes a long way.





Also I add a mask once a week to pull out the impure stuff in my face.


AND a sea salt shower scrub to add a fresh citrus scent and all natural oils -

Whatever you decide don't use anything with mineral oil.

Whatever you do, eat a well balance diet and use only all natural skin care products.
To have a skin like a baby, you need to always keep it very clean.. and after the shower I personally use Nivea body lotion on my face, and I wash my face 2-3 times a day to keep dirt away and use the Nivea lotion right after washing my face to keep it hydrated.. and sometimes I put yoghourt on my face till it dries then wash it, it makes it so soft.. and I have a skin of a baby no wrinkles although I am a grand ma
right after a shower or bath, put lotion on... it will make your skin soft to the touch and after a few weeks you'll start to get a healthy look to your skin. Also try to look for lotions comprised of natural ingridients cause some of them have chemicals that could negatively couneract with your skin.

QUICK TIPS FOR CLEANSING YOUR SKIN

SKIN TONING





Toning is necessary for all skin types and should be made a part of daily skin care routine. Toning is refreshing, improves blood circulation and adds a healthy glow to the skin.


鈥?Soak cotton wool pads in skin tonic and wipe face in outward and upward strokes.


鈥?Each movement should end at the temples. Apply gentle pressure at the temples.


鈥?While applying toner on the forehead, start from the centre and go outward on either side, again ending at the temples.


鈥?Apply toner on chin in circular motions.


鈥?Tone the neck too, stroking downwards from the chin.


鈥?Tone around the eyes, but very lightly.





Making skin tonic at home is simple and easy. All you require is rosewater and witch-hazel. Rosewater is one of the best-known skin tonics and is easily available. Witch-hazel is available at a chemist or homeopathy shop. Toners vary according to skin types:





For normal skin


Mix 戮 cup rosewater with 录 cup witch-hazel and store in a jar.





For very greasy skin


Mix equal quantities of rosewater and witch-hazel and store in a jar.





For dry skin


Mix 戮 cup rosewater, 录 cup witch-hazel and 陆 teaspoon glycerin or honey and store in a jar.

USE A FOAMING BATH TO TONE YOUR SKIN

ok , first of all u should have nice face wash ( ayurvedic is best of couse )so that when u get up you should apply it and splash your face with cold water, it refreshes the pores inside the skin.Then u can go for natural care like aloe vera or u can keep some slices of cucumber in the refrigirator for some time and apply it on your face.Then u can go for some rose water,and the most important is to have a healthy diet consisting of fruits and vegetables.If not this then u need to consult a skin specialist .Hope my ideas work.
