ok i have the worst skin everrrr.
or so i think. well its worse than all my friends and im EXTREMELY self concise(sp?) of it. ive tried soo many different products to. all different kinds of scrubs, washes, stridex pad type things, black head stripes, moisturizers, and more. ive tried SO many different products from neutrogena, clean and clear, stridex, sea breeze, and sum crazy names i cant remember. ive never tried pro active, or differin. would you suggest any of those 2 or anything else for sum1 with many black heads on the nose, pimples and white heads on the ';T'; zone, and infected pimples on the chin, as well as pimples high on the forehead?Skin care--help!?
basically just stop buying so much products because as you can see they are not working on you. so if it is bad acne go to your local dermatologist. he or she knows what is best for you. this will take maybe a week to get better like at home but try cleaning your face twice a day or more and never touch your hands while they have hair products or dirt/dirty stuff on them. and if you want to get rid of the redness try eyedrops that gets redness off your eye. try it on the pimple just with a Q-tip. if you want to dry the pimple try white tooth PASTE or night or lemons. if you want to try to reduce try wrapping an ice cube where the pimple is and hold it for like 10 or more minutes. remember to drink lots of water!!! and try to clean where your blackheads on your nose are with water cuz thats probably oil there so clean it atleast three times a day...hope i helped and good luck!!!Skin care--help!?
whoa... not so fast! First, when you change to a new skin regiment, it can take around 21 days to see a difference. And sometimes the issues get worse before they get better. Are you giving these products enough time?
Another mistake people commonly make is to use different product lines for their regimen. In other words, their cleanser might be product line A, the scrub, product line B, the toner, product line C and the moisturizer product line D. Product lines are made to work in harmony with each other.
I'm not a big fan of drug store products (clearasil, neutrogena, etc.).
Have you been to a dermatologist? That's their arena and they can get you on a antibiotic to help the skin on the ';inside';.
Well everybody has different types of skin, so I can't tell you for sure that one of those will work. I have tried Pro-Active, and personally I didn't like it. It just didn't mesh well with my skin. But then I have tried neutrogena, and I totally love it. I have heard of Pro-Active helping alot of other people, so just give it a try. And if it doesn't work, then just move on to another product. I know how tiring it can be to have to keep moving from one product to another, but you will find something that goes with your skin!
Some of my friend have the SAME problem. As weird as this sounds...DO IT, IT REALLY WORKS.
I SUGGEST THIS IS DONE IN A SMALL BOWL/CONTAINER.
Okay take about 4 or 5 regular asprins, Then crush it up, so its like powder. Next, take two or three tiny drops of water and drop it on the powdery asprin. Mix it together with a finger, spoon or toothpick and take it and rub it all on your forehead (and where you have pimples/zits/black heads). Keep the asprin on for about an hour (well until it drys and hardens) then wash off with warm water....or if you want in small areas just put a band-aid over the asprin, liquid...and leave it on over night!
TRY IT.
First of all. DON'T PICK!!!!!!!!
Second-- Ask your dermatologist if they do acne surgery. It is not really surgery. They use a tiny little pin (does not hurt) and poke your pimples-white heads-black heads- etc. and squeeze them out with a little utensil. IT DOES NOT HURT!!! I was so nervous when I went, and when you leave you will be a little red and irritated, but about 3-5 days later you will look amazing. I have already gone once, and I am going again on Thursday!!!! Good Luck.
well you should tryy pro-active. don't touch your face a lot because you can irritate them. if all these prducts arent working you can go to a dermatologist. they can help you by giving you cremes and maybe even pills.
gooodluck!
proactive is good. but it eventually stopped working for me for some reason.

try getting a sponge on a stick and some Oxy gell stuff. thats what works best for me
I would try getting some cream from the store.
ok u find your answer here with many other useful links http://takecareofuskin.blogspot.com/
Your best bet is to go to a dermatologist so he/she can determine what kind of acne you have...if it is cystic (big, hard, below the surface, painful) acne, you will likely need some medication. My dermatologist told me that food causing acne is a big fat myth. Most problems are caused by fluctuating hormones...and age 14, sorry, but they are going to be fluctuating for a while. But you can try Neutrogena Body Wash for acne, which should help clean and dry up some of the breakouts. You should also try one of the topical medications like Oxy or Clearasil with benzoyl peroxide to help further dry up the break outs (if you can reach). Try to take a quick shower whenever you sweat, because that, too can lead to breakouts. Don't scrub the skin that's broken out, because that will just cause more irritation. Good luck at try-outs...another option is to just not worry about it because I bet you aren't the only one with this problem.
Please hurry to get good product for your skin.

AVON retroactive cleanser. My husband has the same problem and it's the only thing that really works. (It has all these gentle exfoliation balls in it). Clinique has some really good stuff too- but just be careful.. some of it is much too harsh.

it was a few acne products that contained salicyclic acid and benzoyl peroxide. what can i put on the rash to make it go away faster? when will it go away? will it go away on its own? i'm nervous.Skin care product caused reaction on face..?
Just give it a few days. You are having just a sensitivity to it. I had that happen when I used proactiv. I slowly started putting it back in my routine and now it works. Just moisturize and leave it alone. If you keep getting a severe rash you might be allergic. In that case benadryl with help. Also a good Idea is to check the company of the product's webpage. They may have suggestions.Skin care product caused reaction on face..?
Don't take any chances and just go to the doctors or even the dermatologist.
STOP using it %26amp; see your doctor right away. Take the skin care product to the doctor appointment with you so the doctor can read the label to see what's in it. If you have a tube of Cortisone cream at home, use it. It may relieve the rash/itching.
the same thing happened to me when i started using clearasil.
I had to go to the dermatologist and get some cream to fix it.
I think that you should go to the doctor's so that other products dont make it worse.
every time my skin itches and have rashes I use rubbing alcohol and it work I used to go see doctor and have some cream because my skin is very sensitive I can't use fake jewelry and on extreme weather I will developer rashes and I found the cure alcohol work best on this kind of situations cost less and you don't have to go see a doctor or buy any expensive products and you don't know if they will work.TRUST ME I GOT WINGS.
I once suffered from severe acne, and I have tried everything under the sun and had every possible reaction to it. Your skin is trying to tell you that it's time to go NATURAL. The chemicals in your acne products are harsh and do nothing to solve the root of most acne problems, which are internal. I highly recommend you begin using an organic skin care line, such as Miessence (www.miessence.com/?phoenixods) so that your skin can heal naturally without the interference of chemical additives. Make the switch as soon as your rash has healed and your skin is out of the reactive phase. Since you are in a reactive phase, you will need to begin with a very soothing, simple treatment. I highly recommend you get some organic lavender essential oil. If you can also get some organic german (blue) chamomile as well, even better, but it is fairly expensive and not as easy to find as Roman chamomile. Either way, mix the essential oils together in equal proportions in a glass dropper bottle. Then, take 2 drops of the blend and apply it to the effected area. Gently pat and press the oil into the skin, don't scrub or rub vigorously. Then, apply a thin layer of Nutiva organic coconut oil over the entire face. Coconut oil will NOT clog pores or exascerbate acne and it has remarkable healing and soothing properties. Continued use of this protocol may clear your acne, if it is just a simple case of acne caused by using the wrong topical treatments. If the roots of your condition are internal, you have more work to do.

Wash the area well with plain water and leave it alone. The rash might not last long. You must have sensitive skin so you need to be careful about what you put on it.
i would say take some benadryl and if tomorrow there is still a rash go to the doctor as long as you are breathing ok and everything tonight i wouldn't stress it too much yet, it shouldn't take that long to go away....just dont put anything on it yet let your skin calm down.

Skin Care moodswings?
The past few months have been extremely confusing for my skin!
My whole life i've had extremely oily skin, but since turning 26, my skin has become combination. However, my problem now is that for 2 weeks out of the month, I have extremely dry skin all over and then the other two weeks oily skin. I have no idea what brands to use, and what sort of cleanser (milk, foam, etc). I heard it's bad to alternate cleansers, should I do this because of my wacky skin? I heard MAC was good and Mario Badescu? I just plopped 200 bucks on Yonka, so nothing to expensive please! Thanks in advance for all your answers! Greatly appreciated!Skin Care moodswings?
You must keep repeating, skin care is all about repitition and for your answer i say get a nonscented(for damaged skin) lotion and apply twice a day or whenever You get out of the shower. Hope this helps!Skin Care moodswings?
i think you should see what your dermatologist says.
in the mean time, you can get a good moisturizer, and a good oil control face wash.
