20 years old, just started taking care of skin, please help!?

I am 20 and a half years old and I just started taking care of my skin. so i definitely am confused about some things. like how often should i exfoliate? daily? or once in two days? is it supposed to hurt (even if a little) while exfoliation?

and facials, hair treatments, manicures, pedicures- how often should i have them done? or should i do them at all?

which one is better for skin- hot water or cold?20 years old, just started taking care of skin, please help!?
If you are oily like me, you can exfoliate as often as you want. 2 or 3 times a week or daily with a mild exfoliater like a face wash with exfoliating beads. If you are more on the dry side, once a week is fine.

It does not hurt.

Go get a facial one day and ask when you should come back for your next one, but I would say maybe once a month if you can afford it.

At home hair treatments can be done once or twice a week.

Hot water is not good for skin. It makes skin dry and can cause irritation. Lukewarm is best. After shampooing and conditioning though, a cold water rinse will lay the hair follicle flat and make it look healthier and shinier. Same with the face. Cold water rinse will tighten the skin and pores and make it look more radiant. You can use an ice cube for this too. It really does work.20 years old, just started taking care of skin, please help!?
Hi Tanya

First I'd like to commend you on your early start of taking care of your skin. This will definitely pay off for you in the years to come.

You ask some very good questions.

I wear mineral makeup and use a nature-based skin care system. I'd love to share a brochure that will answer each of your questions, plus provide you with additional information.

Also, if you would like to purchase all your skin care and make up needs at wholesale cost, here is a link to check out: www.SisterFriends.biz .

Contact me privately at turtlenurse_2000@yahoo.com so I can get and address to send you the brochure.
