What skin care product will give me perfect skin?

ok I'm a 16 yr old guy

i have nice skin now. its not oily or dry, but i tend to get pimples every once in a while or some blemish and it is annoying.

but i already have pretty good skin and do not need any acne medication or something too extreme.

i am just looking for the best moisturizer or something that works amazing and i can use it like 2-3 times a day and it will make my skin super smooth and soft and clear.

i am not worrying about the price right now. i just want to know what the best product is that i can use to moisturize my skin and make it look beautiful and clear and be really soft every day.

like the morning face wash thing or something that will give me healthy, smooth skin and i will use it like 2-3 times a day (definitely morning and night)

please answer!

What skin care product will give me perfect skin?
Hi Tyrone:

My name is Michelle and I am a Registered Nurse. I specialize in skin care. It's encouraging that at your age you are concerned with your skin.

I will give you a couple of suggestions.

1. There is a FREE website that you can visit and consult with skin care experts/physicians that will give you FREE information and answers for any skin related questions you have.

Visit this website: www.aboutyourskincare.com

I have all my patients use their products and they are incredible.

2. Because males ( in their teens) produce the hormones testosterone or androgens. The increase in androgen levels can stimulate the oil glands to become enlarged and thus more oil production is produced. An increased oil production can clog the pores with oil or sebum ( white thick substance) which cause the cell walls of the pores in the skin to breakdown. This process allows bacteria to form and thus breakouts develop.

This is why I suggest for you to prevent future breakouts and maintain nourish your skin by following a skin care regimen.

Having been in the business for 12 years, I dont recommend over the counter products or products sold in infomercials.

The problem with commercial skin products is that they are manufactured for MASSES OF PEOPLE and are not specifically made for different peoples' needs.

I suggest the following skin care regimen: ( I have male teen patients that follow this regimen and their skin is under control):

A basic guideline for properly taking care of your skin is this:

Night time:

1. Exfoliate the skin

2. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

3. Mild Glycolic Acid Toner ( cleans off the excess debris and balances the PH level of the skin).

4. Drying Lotion used only on breakouts

5. Moisturizer

Morning:

1. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

2. Moisturizing cream

The above is a standard you may need to only use one or two products. Visit: www.aboutyourskincare.com

As I suggested and click on the ASK FOR FREE section send them an email and you will get free expert skin care advice.

Their skin care products and products range from $20-$40. They are worthet!

Good Luck to you,

Michelle

dont know
St. Ive's Apricot Scrub. It is an exfoliant and it scrubs away any dead skin cells. You can get one that is suitable for your skin type (oily, acne prone, blackheads, etc.) and they work great. Use it once every morning in the shower.

As for a moisturizer, I use Aveeno Ultra Calming Lotion. It has an SPF of 15 and it will protect your skin from damage from the sun. It also reduces any redness caused by dry skin or on skin prone to acne.

Good luck!
Well, getting past puberty will improve the condition of your skin immensely.

There is no magic cream or face wash that is going to give you perfect skin. It's what you put *into* your body that gives you perfect skin. Drink lots of water, eat your fruits and veggies, get outside for some fresh air and sunlight a few times a day, and exercise to sweat and remove toxins from your skin and body.

Use a gentle cleanser on your face in the morning and evenings and a light moisturizer to keep away excess oil and dry spots. Try Cetaphil cream cleanser and the daily moisturizer. I personally love the old classic Noxema and Aveeno positively ageless moisturizer. Once a week use St Ives Apricot Scrub for delicate skin to exfoliate and you should be good.

Also remember that using any cleanser more than twice a day is bound to dry your skin out and irritate it rather than refresh and cleanse. You could end up making your occasional breakouts a lot worse.

Good luck!
