Skin care help please! Everyone!?

I have really dry skin on my face. It's literally peeling off in flakes and it's so noticeable. The flakes are big. When i got home from school i used Aveeno face cleanser and dermalogica face exfoliate. I also had a red pimple that was still soft so i put a little white tooth paste on it and moisturized my whole face. What should i do to get rid of the dead skin b/c it's coming back right now! What's a good way of clearing pimples? Help!

go to the bathroom first thing in the morning, clean up your eating habits. Drink plenty of water. Wash your face with a basic tree oil face wash. If this does not have the effect you have hoped for try going to your doctor once more, reporting your symptoms, see what happens from there.

sounds like you have combination skin. anyways, I had the same problem until i started using cetaphil moisturizing lotion. put that on your face after you wash it after you wash your face at night. just be sure to use the unscented kind. use it a few times and the dry skin will go away! but you need to put it on every night- if you miss a night, the dry skin will come back.
If you have dry skin coming off in large flakes, you might have eczema. If this is the case, you might want to look at how often you're exfoliating and with what. Eczema can be worsened by overscrubbing. It also needs extra moisture. You might think about seeing a dermatologist for a true diagnosis...especially if eczema runs in your family.





Breakouts can be minimized by benzoyl peroxide spot treatment. Try a 5% over the counter product. Do not put it on your whole face. Icing the for 3-5 minutes a day can also help.
DON'T EVER PUT TOOTHPASTE ON A PIMPLE IT WILL DRY YOUR SKIN OUT EVEN MORE!!!!!!! For your skin try to find a moisturizer that is made for dry and flaky skin.

For clearing pimples, use lemon and/or ice on the pimples. For you skin problem, go and see a dermatologist.
